Right, shit happens they say, and when it happens it's bad.. In this case our content-server went down and we were not able to save the content, even with backups.. Yes, it's quite Shocking!

I did not receive a validation e-mail from ShockingTube.

Please check your SPAM folder to see if the e-mail has been tagged as SPAM.
If the e-mail can't be found in your inbox nor SPAM folder it has probably been blocked by your provider because of the nature of the website. Please contact your provider and ask if they filter e-mail coming from ShockingTube or, of course, you can change your provider :)

I have AOL and have problems using ShockingTube.

It is AOL's policy to place users behind a proxy server. This is an issue for this site because the policy may disrupt the clustering of web servers. Web servers are clustered to enhance the efficiency of large web sites. Because of the way our cluster is implemented, it is important that the user remain connected to the same server throughout the browsing session. AOL.s use of proxy servers may confuse the web cluster and break the data library connection.

Users who are using AOL with their existing connection can most likely get around this problem by simply minimizing AOL and using the web- browser that came installed on their system. Users who are using AOL for their Internet access unfortunately have only one option, and that is to get a new Internet service provider.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account you will have to go to the "My Profile" page. At the bottom you will find the option "Delete my Account". After you select "Delete my Account", and you update your profile, a conformation e-mail will be send to the known e-mail address to let you confirm the account deletion.
